Back to work. Two weeks just flew by. I could have gone away somewhere but decided to stay in town and take it easy, instead. Some nice things did happen though. Staying in town is sometimes the best vacation and this was definitely one of those times. I capped off my vacation, yesterday, by going to a dinner out in Long Island where my mother, brother Vernon, sisters Pauline and Teresa and their families and extended families were in attendance. It was nice to see them again. There was lots of picture taking and many catch up conversations. Definitely one of the highlights of my two weeks off, but there were other special highlights too.
The nicest part of coming back to work for me is hearing how much I was missed. It certainly makes coming back a lot more bearable. I’ll be back in the swing of things by the end of the day, I’m sure. I brought 3 tv shows with me to watch today. I might get around to watching them. I’ll start, of course, with last night’s episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm which is always good for a few laughs.
